"Donut Grow up" Birthday party for Stella ♥

September starts and is for this momma the time to get ready to prepare for one of my babies birthdays, this time is Stellita's turn, she turned 5!! Well, technically her birthday is on  the 10th but I always use the weekend to make a little party for my kids, this year was the Donut theme, I adored the "Donut Grow Up party" we had, it suits her perfectly because obviously she is growing up and starting new facets in her life this year (like school for the first time) and I am all happy and sad at the same time.
5 is a big number, "the whole hand" number as I was telling her,
and Stella is getting more and more mature and sweet every time.
The party was a success, we had plenty of donuts and sweets, games, music and the best part: my Stella coming to me at the end and tell me: "I loved my party, you are the best momma int he world" it melted my heart completely and although I am far from the "best momma in the world", it means so much to me that she thinks I am ♥
Here I am sharing with you my favorite pictures of our little celebrations, ideas are millions on Pinterest, I copied many of them and made them my own with what I had and could get on Amazon or other stores, I will try to link some of the party supplies and other things I used.

Ikea Easel, we use it all the time, and for parties makes a lovely detail
to have your "kids stats"

This was our table for the kids to eat and sing "Happy birthday" the "Donut Grow up" balloons sign is from Amazon get it here comes with rose gold balloons too!
I saw the cutest idea to put 3 different kinds of milk flavors on glass jars (always be careful while using glass around kids) I got one of mine from the "Entertaining with Beth Subscription Box" ( I got a video about this Box that I love so much, you can watch it here),  and the 2 others glass bottles are from the Dollar Tree store, get them here. my golden circle trays are from Michel's and I use them all the time, get them here!

This "Wolfgang Puck Warmer tray" is my favorite for my parties, makes super easy and pretty to present some hot meals, I made just a simple Chicken in the oven, mashed potatoes, and white steam rice with my favorite "Ensalada Rusa" (potatoes, beets, peans and carrots all seasoned with my homemade mayonnaise- you can use any mayonnaise)
The warmer tray is electric and I saw many options on Amazon or eBay, my Utensil holder is from Target (Similar here)

My cake is "semi-homemade", I bought the cakes and I made the decorations with colorful donuts! That simple, I was about to bake my own but time killed me, so I decided to go the easy but cute way! Napkins, plates, and cups are some from Amazon (donut theme, and some from Target too)
My big Jar- Juice dispenser is from Target (is plastic) and my garland is homemade from just many many cloth pieces, my teal felt board is also from Target, (similar here) and my cake stand (metal) is from Target as well.

Stellita's dress and crown are also #Amazonfinds
as well as the goodie boxes and piñata!

It was a fun, sweet, crazy, and an adorable celebration that I will keep in my heart forever and I'm sure one day we will look back in pictures and get a big smile from them... the piñata, the donut game, the dancing and the laughs...Thank you, thank you to all our friends and family members that came that day and shared with us these moments. She loved all her presents and felt so lucky to have you all in her life and to be part of her special day.

We love you Stellita, to the moon and back, you are the perfect daughter to mom and dad, and the sweetest sister to Sophia and Victoria, we waited for you for many many years and you finally came to make our family so happy, I can't wait to share with you many more birthdays and cakes and laughs and hugs.
I love you with all my hear!

"Little bare feet"

Another Summer is flying by my eyes, this year got me raising my 3 babies (who are not so babies anymore) and I came to the conclusion that my parenting style during summer time includes bare-sandy feet, salty hair, tan lines, ice cream, late night movies, tons of fruits and hours on the i-pads! but hey, they enjoy it and if they are happy I am happy.

Sophia (9 years old) is my pre-pre teenager, we are getting into a new face of our lives with her and I am excited/scare about it, I seriously can't wait to see her become a young girl but at the same time I don't want to go thru the crazy teenage years, what parent wants that right?, so I am very happy when I can still get a little bit of a little girl on her, like when she gets a Rita's ice cream and enjoys it like a 2 year old or when she is on her room and I catch her playing with her barbies, she's maybe growing up to the speed of the light but I can still see my little girl asking me for hugs! We still have few more years to enjoy more of that I'm sure, besides, how bad can the teenage years can be, right?.

Stella (3 years old) was my crazy tornado around the house, she will throw rice over all my kitchen floor, and scream to the top of her lungs at the grocery store, she will cry non stop until I would come and get her on her crib every single night, but lately is amazing to see more "sense" in here, she is becoming a helpful, mindful and sweet little girl, I love to see her taking her "big sister" role completely seriously with her sister and explaining how to do things, (bossing her little sister everywhere to be exact) and since her birthday is next month, she can't stop talking about how she is getting to be a big, BIG GIRL now (in "Sepmember" as she says) that she'll be 4 and she will have super powers and will be able to fly like "Wonder Women", she is to me my wonder threenager, that can fly high to the sky and come back to touch my heart with every little kiss she gives me.

and Victoria, my baby! (I refuse to stop calling her "baby") she is 2, yeah, the TERRIBLE TWOS! and let  me tell you she is giving that name some justice!
Victoria has grown faster than my older girls, maybe because she has all the information on hand to do so, and now she is such a smart and funny girl, whenever she does something bad, she will immediately tell me how her big sisters did it but of course, she had nothing to do with it, or she will hide on the farthest corner of the house assuming that mom wont go there to catch her and take her to time out, I'm old and tired now, I let her get away with way more than I did with Sophie, she is mommy's baby, did I mention that?

I am blessed, totally and completely blessed as a mother and I wanted to take this minute to say it, enjoy it and thank God and life for my 3 blessings, for my 3 little beautiful, healthy, funny, smart, crazy and sassy little girls that life gave me.
Time flies for everybody, please enjoy and count your blessings, whatever they may be, if s a career that fulfills you, if is a family, if is your partner that makes you happy or friends that you can count on or if you are a mom going crazy with everything in your house, please remember that those are our gifts and it's our time to savor them and treasure them, today, not tomorrow, today!

Sincerely: Natalia ♥
